Peacefully, at his home with Ben and Maria surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday February 21, 2021; aged 90 years, Husband to the late Gerda (Mary), and latterly soul mate Toni, Loving Dad to Ada* and Mike, Gerald*, Ben and Maria, Ron and Lorraine, Ingrid and Mark, Leone and Stew, Vicky and Andy; Opa to Sam, Will, Terry*, Felicity and Ange; Katrina, Jake and Anya; Uzzi, DenDen, Lucky and Lovely; Jerrard, Daniel and Shayne; Becky, Nettie, Crystal and Brendon; Jess and Michelle; Amelie and Isabel, and partners, and Opa to his 17 great grandchildren. Treasured son of the late Gijsbertus and Alida Roos, and Brother of Ko*, Wim, Henk, Ella, Herman*, Arie and Josefa* and their families in Holland and New Zealand (*denotes deceased). – A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 11am on Thursday February 25^th, at Andersons Bay Crematorium Chapel, 192 Tomahawk Road, Dunedin.
