Suddenly on Saturday, 29th January 2022 at Christchurch Public Hospital.

Gilbert peacefully shuffled off this mortal coil.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Beth.

Much loved dad of Mary, Alison, Jill, and Graeme loved father-in-law of Peter and Jo.

Caring grandad of Khristel, Beth, Andrew, Steve, Leigh and Matt and a loving great grandad.

At Gilberts request a private family service has been held.
