HARTEVELD, Walter;

Peacefully in Christchurch, on Monday, November 7, 2022 aged 93 years.  Beloved husband of 69 years and soulmate of Thalia.   Loved father of Stephen and partner Lyla, loved father of Carla and father-in-law of John.  Loved grandad of Morgan and Sophie, Tayla, and Sarah-Jane; Andrew and Lydia, and Alexandra, and great grandad of Charlie, and Eli.  The family wish to thank the staff at Summerset at Wigram for their care and support given to Walter.  In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be gratefully received and may be made online at bit.ly/wharteveld0711.  Messages may be addressed to the Harteveld Family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145.  A celebration of Walter’s life will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel 297 Ferry Road, Christchurch on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2pm.  Thereafter private cremation.
