Passed peacefully away at ChCh Public Hospital at 12.35am on 21st January 2022 after a 3 month illness with cancer.
Adored husband of Margaret as his 1st wife and Fay his 2nd wife (both deceased).
Much loved father of Charles Powell and Susan Powell; and greatly loved Grandfather of Jasmine, Madison, Lauren and Brooke.
Warmly loved Great grandfather of Aiko Mukai. Much loved father-in-law of Karen Powell and Bobby Mukai
Best friend to many, engineer, respected man of integrity and loved life to the full.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society in Robert’s memory.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London and Whitmore Streets, Christchurch, on Tuesday 25th January at 10.00.a.m.
