MACEFIELD, John Robert. (342413 – Gunner – Ministry of Defence)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Totara Hospice on 3 July 2021, aged 84 years.  Dearly loved husband of Grace.  Beloved father and father-in-law of Peter and Leanne, Ian and Michelle.  Cherished grandad and great-grandad of Haley and Peter, Rachel and Chris, Blake and Catherine, Todd and Miranda; Beauden, Florence and Sally.  There was no greater thing in life to him than his family of whom he was very proud and he fought his illness stoically for many years just to have as much time with them as possible. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the Papakura Rugby Football Club, 2 Ron Keat Drive, Papakura on Friday 9 July at 1pm. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Kidney Society would be appreciated.
