“A man passionate for his community of New Brighton where he lived, worked and was very involved for sixty three of his ninety years.”
Dearly loved son of Joan and Charles Andrews. Best mate and dearly loved dad to Simon. Bob was well loved by his Aunts and Uncles, Barbara and Charles Manning and Louise and Victor Andrews. His cousins Molly and Trevor Scott, John Manning, Harvey Andrews and their families will always cherish the memories made with their much-loved cousin. The family sincerely thank Avon Lifecare for their wonderful care and their kindness shown to Bob.
Bob requested no flowers, but he would be delighted with any donations to The New Brighton and District Historical Society and Museum.
Messages for the Andrews family may be sent to 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch 8013.
At Bob’s request a private cremation has been held.
Friends who wish to Remember Bob and share time reflecting on his life well lived are invited to The New Brighton and District Historical Society and Museum, 8 Hardy Street, New Brighton on Wednesday 5 May at 1.30pm.
