Rachel Joy

Passed away 3 February 2023 aged 37.  Her laugh and friendly personality attracted everyone. Rachel loved her family, independence, flatmates, Ranfurly Care Activity Centre, and her Church. The Katinas ‘biggest fan’ she flew to Florida to meet them on a cruise in 2019 and fulfilled her dream of going to Disney World. She was surrounded by family, friends, love and prayers in her final days. There is peace in our sorrow knowing Rachel is with Jesus, causing mischief and bringing joy to heaven. Dearly loved by parents Carol and Steve and siblings Matthew, Edmund, and Sara. A service to celebrate Rachel’s life, will be held in St John’s Presbyterian Church, 120 Great South Road, Papatoetoe on Thursday 9 February at 11am.
