Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, on Friday January 4 2019, aged 64 years. Dearly loved husband of Deb. Much loved father of Steph and Ammie, and father-in-law to Hamish. Proud granddad of Ella. Cherished son of Shirley and the late William. Loved brother of Noel, Rosemary (deceased), Robin and Paul. Many thanks to all involved in Alan’s care over the past month. A funeral service to celebrate Alan’s love of life will be held at the Shirley Rugby Club, Burwood Park, 75 New Brighton Road, Christchurch on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 2.00pm. Burial will take place at the Mount Somers Cemetery, Hoods Road, Mount Somers on Friday January 11, 2019 at 2.00pm.
