Passed peacefully on March 2nd, 2022, at Palm Grove Rest home aged 89 years.

Dearly loved husband to the late Nancy, Loved father and Father in law to Alan and Julie, Deann and Peter Gallagher, Tony and Kerry-Lee, Paul and Andrea, Treasured Poppa to Logan, Lachlan, Hamish, Ashley, Mikayla, Jessica, and Hayley.

A service to celebrate Ian’s life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch on Monday, March 7, at 1.00pm. Ian will be interred at the Karoro Cemetery, Greymouth on Tuesday March 8 at 12pm.
